OR-Library is a collection of test data sets for a variety of OR problems.

There are two data files contributed by Eva Hopper (HopperE@gmx.net), to whom any queries should be addressed.
The first data file is strip1
There is also a postscript file (strip2) containing pictures of solutions
The second data file is strip3.xls (an Excel file) with the data also being in strip4.pdf (a PDF file)
Strip3 and strip4 are from Hopper E., 2000, "Two-dimensional packing
utilising evolutionary algorithms and other meta-heuristic methods"
PhD Thesis, Cardiff University, UK and concern 2D rectangular strip packing
problems with
- items of different size
- optimal solution is known.
The largest file is strip2 of size 12.6Mb (approximately).
The entire set of files is of size 13Mb (approximately)
