My current role. Lecturer in Simulation and Modelling.

I am a Lecturer in Simulation and Modelling at Brunel University London, specializing in modelling migration and policy decisions. I'm also a Visiting Lecturer at the Centre for Computational Science at University College London, a Chair of the Multiscale Modelling and Simulation Workshop, and a Fellow of the Software Sustainability Institute. I am PI for Brunel in several EU-funded research projects, including HiDALGO and VECMA.

August 2020:Our work on the Flu And Coronavirus Simulator received coverage in The Sun and Metro.

June 2020:The 2020 multiscale modelling and simulation (MMS) workshop was held online in conjunction with two other events, and can be viewed in full here.

February 2020:Dr. Alireza Jahani has official joined our group as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow. He will work on the HiDALGO project, with a focus on agent-based migration simulations.

October 2019:Dr. Imran Mahmood has official joined our group as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow. He will work on the HiDALGO project, with a focus on agent-based migration simulations.

July 2019:Dr. Gebremariam Assres has left our group, to start a permanent position as Associate Professor at the University of Kristiansand.

June 2019:Diana Suleimenova has official joined our group as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow. She will work on the VECMA project, with a focus on constructing multiscale migration prediction models.
