Sam Gorman received her BA Sculpture degree from Bristol in 1992 and since then has participated in various touring exhibitions both nationally and internationally. She has also been actively involved in art education, hosting numerous art residencies and workshops in prominent galleries and museums in the UK. She works from her studio in East London, and her interests draw from the built environment and the communications landscape. She works primarily in wood, in carving and construction.
