Research Interests

Research area covers both experimental and computational fluid mechanics as well as biomedical engineering. Main research interest lies in computational fluid mechanics with particular activities in both biomedical and industrial flows. Extensive work was undertaken on blood flow modelling through a ventricular assist device. Subsequent research involved the modelling of plume flows in connection with chemical reaction modelling. Current research activity involves experimental and numerical two-phase flow modelling related to countercurrent chromatography (CCC) as well as microcirculation flows.
