The best way to contact me is by emailing me at mastsdn@brunel.ac.uk as I am usually logged on. My office is M407 in the Mathematics Building. If you wish to come to see me it is probably best to email me to fix up a time when I will be in.

Class Test

The class test is on Thursday 13th March at 9am. The material covered will be everything in the first three weeks of lectures or equivalently everything covered on the first three problem sheets. Groups 1 to 4 are in rooms LC109, LC112, LC113 and LC114 respectively.

The spring timetable is as follows.

In each week you will only need to attend one seminar or lab (apart from one group in one week). Details on which lab or seminar you should attend in the weeks after week five will be given out in lectures.

Course Material

All the material that is given out in lectures is reproduced here. However the material is written in a mathematics typesetting package known as LaTeX, which produces extremely high quality printed output. The material here has been produced by using an html converter so some of it does not look quite right. The handouts here are intended as a supplement to lectures. They contain a brief description of the content and some additional worked examples. Answers to problem sheets will only appear a few weeks after they have been given out in seminars.
