Project Personnel                                           

The project is directed at Brunel University by Professor Robin Goodwin. Prof. Goodwin has a particular interest in the study of relationships and acculturation and has been working with colleagues in Eastern and Central Europe since 1991. For more details of his work, click here

Kinga Goodwin is the project Research Assistant. Originally from Poland, she has a Masters in social psychology, specialising in Cross-Cultural Psychology, from Warsaw School of Advanced Social Psychology. She came to the UK in 2005, and has since worked at Harrow Council for Racial Equality and for British Petroleum. Trained as a journalist with Gazeta Wyborcza, she has published in psychology journals and popular magazines in both Poland and the UK.

Professor Pascale Allotey is Professor in Race and Diversity at Brunel University and a specialist on the health status of migrants and refugees. She has previously served as an advisor to WHO, UNDP and the World Bank. Click here for more details.

Dr Anat Bardi is a Lecturer in Social Psychology at the University of Kent, Canterbury. She is a specialist in the study of personal and cultural values, and she has a particular interest in changes in these during life transitions. Click here for more details.
