Prof Barbara Sahakian
Barbara J. Sahakian FMedSci is Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at the Department of Psychiatry and MRC/Wellcome Trust Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute, University of Cambridge. She is internationally recognised as a leader in the fields of cognitive psychopharmacology, neuroethics, neuropsychology, and neuropsychiatry. In recognition of her achievements in the field of cognitive neuroscience she was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences in 2004. She is currently President Elect of the British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP) and serves on the executive board of the International Neuroethics Society.

Dr Jenny Crinion
Jenny Crinion is a neuroscientist and speech therapist working at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London.  She is the holder of a prestigious Clinical Scientist Fellowship from the Medical Research Council which she was awarded for her groundbreaking work in researching the mechanisms underlying chronic language deficits in stroke patients. She is currently developing new treatment approaches for these patients that combine computer-based training and electrical brain stimulation. Despite being a relatively junior scientist, Dr. Crinion is at the forefront of electrical brain stimulation techniques in the UK, an area of research that will revolutionise the treatment of neuropsychological patients in the coming years.

Prof Catherine Harmer
Catherine J Harmer is a Professor in Cognitive Psychology at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford. She is internationally recognised for her research in understanding the psychological mechanisms through which antidepressants exert their therapeutic effects, and in her approach of integrating cognitive, biological and pharmacological mechanisms to further our understanding of normal and abnormal brain function. Professor Harmer was awarded the British Association for Psychopharmacology Pre-Clinical Scientist Prize, she acts as a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry and her research has largely been funded by the Medical Research Council.
