Teaching

Knowledge is one of the most valuable gifts and exciting journeys of humankind. Disseminating knowledge through teaching is an activity I aspire to and enjoy. I am currently teaching in the undergraduate courses of: BSc in Multimedia Technology and Design & BSc in Broadcast Media Design and Technology as well as the postgraduate MSc course of Advanced Multimedia Design and 3D Technologies at Brunel University. Here are some of the subjects I have been teaching:

Game Development (MSc)
Aimed at developing student knowledge and understanding of the key principles of game design and development within the context of interactive multimedia, using professional game authoring tools, such as Unity3D.
Interaction Design and Usability (BSc)
Aimed at introducing the theory and practice of human computer interaction and developing skills in usability and interaction with digital systems across different forms and platforms.
Multimedia Interaction Design (MSc)
Aimed extending and demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of human computer interaction using multimedia production tools and object based scripting, particularly for producing interactive content.
Broadcast Technology and Interactive TV Service Design (BSc)
Aimed at providing students with the knowledge and understanding of the capture, distribution, design and broadcast of interactive and digital media content.
Interaction (BSc)
Aimed at introducing the theory and practice of human computer interaction by means of exploring various interactive possibilities with digital media and developing knowledge and skills in object based scripting.
3D Design and Animation (BSc)
Aimed at studying the theory, techniques and gaining practical skills in 3D Design and Animation. Through this to enable students to plan, design and create 3D Artefacts to a professional level.
Systems and Computing (BSc)
Aimed at introducing and developing understanding of concepts and methods in systems thinking and representation as well as introducing major concepts in computers, networks and computing technology.
Design Practice for Broadcast (BSc)
Aimed at developing students’ design and documentation skills through a project centred, research led approach to the design of media for broadcast.
