I am a Lecturer (UK)/Assistant Professor (Europe/USA) in the Digital Media Design courses, Multimedia Technology and Design & Broadcast Media Design and Technology. I am the Course Director for Multimedia Technology and Design as well as the Deputy Course Director of the MSc in Advanced Multimedia Design and 3D Technologies, of the Digital Design and Technology Division, part of the Electronic and Computer Engineering Subject area of the School of Engineering and Design at Brunel University.

Academic Duties
Research
I am particularly interested in investigating how digital economy can enable a more sustainable society, especially in the areas of health and wellbeing, ageing, defence training and energy use at home and beyond. I have been investigating the barriers in the use of game sensor technologies, virtual reality and serious games for use in the rehabilitation of patients suffering from various neurophysiological health conditions (i.e. stroke, MSK). I am currently investigating their use in neurodegenerative diseases Parkinson’s disease, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, as well as their use in defence training and improving the quality of life and wellbeing of the ageing. Teaching
I contribute to the teaching of the undergraduate Multimedia Technology and Design & Broadcast Media Design and Technology courses as well as the MSc in Advanced Multimedia Design and 3D Technologies. I am the course leader forMultimedia Technology and Design, the Level 3 co-ordinator for the aforementioned Digital Media Design courses, as well as the Deputy Course Director for the MSc.
