FEMGV is use with PHYSICA.
Both pre-
and post-interfaces are well developed and a number
of standard element types are supported.
The pictures show graphical animations of the quenching
of an elasto-plastic steel slab simulated in PHYSICA. |

FEMVIEW is used to display graphs of the stresses
and plastic strains along a line through the slab,
and a single command allows animation over a set of results.
The user can see the stress reversal associated with the cooling
of the steel slab and the region in the slab where no plastic
straining occurs. |
