The picture shows a 2D animation of the casting
of a steel test bar tree simulated in PHYSICA.
FEMVIEW is used to display stress contours,
and a single command allows animation over a set of results.
The user can see the steel cast shrinking (Mag x3) and the
contact with the deformable ceramic shell mould constraining the
steel cast. |
