Title of Final Year Project : Derivation of simple nuclear potential models from proton-nucleon scattering

Abstract of Project :

Data collected from proton scattering by nucleons can be analysed to determine simple models for nuclear potentials. This project developed inverse modelling techniques using least-squares minimisation. The objective was to derive optimal parameters for simple models of nuclear potentials from proton-nucleon scattering data.
