Biographical Sketch

 

Dr Qin joined Brunel Design as a Lecturer in 2001.  He obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in China and his PhD degree in the UK. He was an academic visiting scholar in 1996-97 within the Geometric Modelling group of the University of Birmingham UK after working as a Lecture from 1989 and an Associate Professor from 1994 in the East China Jiaotong University. Following the visiting, he took a Research Assistant post in 1998 at UWIC and subsequently joined the Manufacturing Systems Integration Research Institute (MSI), Loughborough University as a PostDoc Research Associate in 2000.
