The proposed project aims towards long term research efforts. The introduced approach tries to establish a bridge between different areas within computer science, therefore it naturally links projects investigating either neural networks or computational logic.
The discussed aspects are also of great importance for further industrial applications, in particular within the area of software engineering. Therefore there is a close link to various research efforts within the Information Technologies Programme, in particular Emerging Software Technology (tasks 1.6 to 1.10) but also to Software Intensive System Engineering (tasks 1.1,1.4).
