Networked Virtual Performance Envirorments 3: London UKIYO LAB The Centre for Contemporary and Digital Performance & DAP-Lab, School of the Arts, Brunel University (West London) with Maison Artaud [dir. Hironobu Oikawa] and Keio University   Saturday June 6, 2010: premiere   "Becoming Leaf" .   Film shoot with Biyo Kikuchi, Yumi Sagara, and Jun Makime , directed by Johannes Birringer and designed by Michèle Danjoux took place on June 5, Additional outdoor filming was done outdoors at sunrise on Saturday, June 5, with Jun Makime on camera.   The first edited version of BECOMING LEAF was shown on June 6 Antonin Artaud Performance Centre   ---------------- BECOMING LEAF is dedicated in memoriam KAZUO OHNO --------------------   The second real-time version of BECOMING LEAF was shown during the UKIYO 2 installation at KIBLA Media Arts Center in Maribor, Slovenia, on June 18, 2010. It was accompanied by live music created by Alexander Finlayson.
